Recruitment/ Retention Supplement. For Full and Part-Time Instructional Employees. Starting in the 2025-2026 School Year!
Beginning with the 2025-2026 academic year, routine complete time and part time educational workers will get a yearly wage supplement of no less than $4,500.00, in accordance with conditions set forth in the SJEA Memorandum of Understanding.
The funds reserved for the educational unit shall be paid to workers within the educational bargaining unit in referendum supplements as follows:
- Years 0-5: $4,500 (Flat Rate).
- Years 6-10: $5,172.00.
- Years 11-15: $6,206.00.
- Years: 16-20: $7,241.00.
- Years 21+: $8,275.00.
- Regular full-time staff members as specified by Article 1 (E) will receive the full negotiated quantity.
- Regular part-time staff members shall receive half of the full-time employee amount.
- Employees holding "Part-time As Needed" positions are not qualified for this supplement.
- The salary supplement will be paid in installments within the worker's frequently scheduled income during the list below school years: 2025-2026, 2026-2027, 2027-2028, 2028-2029.

Beginning with the 2025-26 academic year, routine full-time and part-time Administrative, Managerial & Confidential staff members will get an annual income supplement as follows:
- Full-Time: $6,000 (Flat Rate).
- Part-Time: $3,000 (Flat Rate).
Supplement specifications consist of the following:
- Regular full-time staff members are defined as working 25 hours each week or higher and shall receive the complete supplement amount.
- Regular part-time are specified as working less than 25 hours per week and will receive half of the full-time supplement amount.
- Employees holding Part Time As Needed positions are not qualified for this supplement.
- The income supplement will be paid in installments within the worker's frequently arranged paycheck throughout the following academic year: 2025-2026, 2026-2027, 2027-2028, 2028-2029.
