AI has the potential to improve crucial sectors in China. However, amongst business domains in these sectors with the most important use cases, there is no low-hanging fruit where AI can be implemented with little additional financial investment. Rather, our research finds that unlocking maximum capacity of this opportunity will be possible just with tactical investments and developments throughout a number of dimensions-with data, talent, innovation, and market cooperation being primary. Interacting, enterprises, AI gamers, and federal government can deal with these conditions and make it possible for China to capture the full value at stake.
